We are currently in a series of devotionals over the book of Matthew. Every day we will have a devotion from a different chapter of the book.

Text: “And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.” - Matthew 28:9

Devotional: Notice the only proper response to the resurrected Jesus: WORSHIP! He had already been telling them of His resurrection (Mat. 16:21; 17:23), and here His predictions come true! To the follower of Jesus, the resurrection is the proof that everything Jesus said is true, and He really IS the savior of the world! What do you do when you encounter the resurrected Christ, knowing His resurrection proves His divinity and power to save? Do you WORSHIP? 

Prayer: Lord, I believe that Jesus raised from the dead just as He said He would, and I believe that event proves His ability to save me. I worship my Lord and Savior Jesus!

Challenge: What are some ways we “meet” the resurrected Jesus today?
