Bible-Based Faith
Everything we do at the Marshfield Church of Christ revolves around biblical principles and teaching. We believe that the Bible is God’s word, and is applicable to modern-day Christians. We strive to maintain biblical authority for everything we do and practice. We look to the Bible for answers on salvation, faithful Christian living, and worship.

Worship
We strive to worship God in the best and most edifying way possible while maintaining biblical authority for everything done in worship. From our singing, to our prayers, to our giving, to the sermons, to eating of the the communion, we look for the pattern set forth in scripture to assure that what we do pleases God first and foremost. After making sure that we are pleasing God in our worship, we ask questions like, “how does this build up and edify the members and guests, or how can we tailor our services to care for the needs of those in attendance?”

Christian Living
In our congregation, we strive for each member to not be so in name only. Being a Christian means that you are a changed person, both in worship services and during events, as well as in school, on the job, and at home. We commission each member to live according to the examples of Jesus and the first century church apostles in conduct, service, and evangelism.

Evangelism
The power of the good news of Jesus Christ is such that we can’t keep it to ourselves! That is why we strive to foster a culture in our church family of evangelistic outreach. We do this through friendship, service, and loving example, and ultimately, through the sharing of the gospel message of Jesus as found in the pages of the Holy Bible. No one should ever feel pressured or threatened by our evangelistic zeal, but understand it as a friend lovingly helping another friend see the power of Jesus and the blessings that come with serving Him.
